Mersey and Irwell Group January Meeting

The first meeting of 2025 saw four regulars and a new member congregate at MMRS Dean Hall in Sale for the afternoon to do some modelling and generally 'chew the fat' on a variety of topics.

Chris was working on a 4TC set - three coaches of which are here, awaiting new etches for the brake coach with which to complete the set -

Rowland started on a Midland Railway brake van -

He also had some almost finished Great Western open wagons to show -

Finally, I built a clasp brake fitted chassis for a 16t Vac-fitted mineral - this second attempt was far more successful that my first go, seen here with a temporary set of wheels fitted -

The next meeting for MIAG is March 1st, again at Dean Hall.
